Terms of Service
Placeholder draft — not reviewed by a lawyer. Replace before real users start trading real money through ExeTix. UK ticket resale is subject to specific disclosure rules under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Part 3) that this draft does not attempt to fully cover.
1. What ExeTix is
ExeTix is a marketplace that lets students list spare event tickets for sale and lets other students buy them. ExeTix is not the original ticket issuer and is not affiliated with any venue, promoter, or ticketing platform whose tickets are listed.
2. Seller responsibilities
Sellers must only list tickets they genuinely own and are legally entitled to resell, and must accurately describe the ticket (event, price, and any restrictions). Listing a ticket you do not have, or misrepresenting it, may result in account suspension.
3. Buyer protections
Payment is held by ExeTix via Stripe until the transaction completes, at which point the ticket file is released to the buyer. If a ticket turns out to be invalid, contact us.
4. Prohibited conduct
No fraudulent listings, no reselling tickets you don't own, no circumventing the platform to avoid fees, and no abusive behaviour toward other users.
5. Changes
These terms may change as ExeTix develops. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
